Segoe UI Emoji
๐ About this font
Segoe UI Emoji is Microsoft's emoji font for Windows, named after the default interface font Segoe UI. It ships with Windows and renders emoji across the system.
The font has evolved with Windows versions: flat design in Windows 10, and a Fluent Design-based redesign in Windows 11 with more depth and expressiveness, while keeping up with Unicode and emoji standards.
Technically, Segoe UI Emoji uses the COLR vector format, allowing smooth scaling with the interface. In environments without color support, the system falls back to black-and-white emoji from Segoe UI Symbol. Because the font is distributed only with Windows, users cannot download it separately.
