Noto Emoji

Noto Emoji is an open-source monochrome emoji font maintained by Google, part of the Noto font family alongside Noto Color Emoji. It provides a complete monochrome emoji solution for environments without color display needs. Licensed under Apache 2.0, it also carries the mission of "No Tofu," striving to cover all Unicode emoji characters.

Visually, Noto Emoji uses clean black outlines to replicate the shapes of its color counterpart, resulting in a crisp, minimalist style ideal for terminal emulators, e-ink screens, print layouts, and minimalist design scenarios.

In addition to the font file, the Noto Emoji project offers full emoji PNG downloads and includes some animated emoji, making it the most widely used monochrome emoji font in the open-source community.
